Ah yeah, it’s Wednesday,
Middle of the week, lovely weather outside, blossom, spring… all that. Come on! I’ve got the day off tomorrow. Going to go shopping, maybe have a couple of pints by the river if the weather’s nice. Fancy it? Come on, bunk off. I’ll see you there.
In the meantime, today we have a chat with Martin Carr, once the brains and the brawn behind The Boo Radleys, the Creation-signed Wirral-wonders who are best known perhaps for the smash-hit Wake Up, but who also made some of the 1990s most adventurous and playful albums away from the top ten. He now has a subscription service for his music, writing and art. Ted gave him a ring to find out about it, as well as what he thinks of the other Boos reforming without him and generally to see how he is. You can read this below the jump, if you are subscriber. If you’re not, press the goddamn button already.
Enjoy the edition,
Ted, Niall and Chris
