Welcome to the last Friday edition of the year. Are you listed out? Of course you’re not because the list you’ve been waiting for is here, and it’s three lists: in today’s TNC, Ted, Niall and Chris each pick their top 20 albums of 2022, plus each make a playlist of their favourite tracks of the past 12 months too. Beyond a few nominations, there’s really not much crossover in their records of the year at all. Do these guys even like each other, or do they only come together because they enjoy going to the pub under the guise of “The New Cue ideas meeting”? And why does one of them keeping writing this intro in the third person?

Of course they like each other, they’re team TNC, the besties of the best. And none of them chose a Red Hot Chili Peppers album, that would change everything. Today’s edition is for subscribers only.
