Release Valve: David Lovering of Pixies
Last Friday, alt-rock trailblazers Pixies put out their ninth studio album. Titled The Night The Zombies Came, it’s the quartet’s fifth record since reuniting in 2004. In the run up to release, drummer David Lovering spoke to Niall to take on our RV queries.
The first record I loved was: That would be Bay City Rollers by the Bay City Rollers, going back to 1975. That’s when I was early on playing drums and Saturday Night was a fun one to play.
